Musician Biography and Booking Information

A former frontman for the band Boom Candle, Joel has been performing since age 16 and a professional musician for 7 years.  Joel started as a solo performer in coffee shops and graduated to touring the country with the likes of Lifehouse, Journey, the Gin Blossoms and more playing to crowds numbering up to 20,000.
Joel has written and recorded 4 CD’s of his original songs and has many more unrecorded tracks that he performs live along with cover songs that compliment his style to include the Gin Blossoms, Bodeans, Matchbox 20 and more.
“My goal with this new show is to create a musical environment that facilitates the coming together of friends and family of all ages.  I have pulled some of my best recording equipment, normally reserved for studio quality recordings and introduced it into my unique live rig which allows my audience to comfortably hear my stories while enjoying conversations with their good friends.  Come relax with me while I fill the air with my art.”

Booking information:

My Show :My show is a solo acoustic performance incorporating digital techniques for harmonies, additional backing tracks created live on the fly and my playing of other instruments to include harmonica, pan flute, and percussion.
Equipment : My equipment is compact allowing me to play in just a small corner of your venue but my sound is clear and volume is controlled.  I can play to a large room or be quiet enough for a fine restaurant as background music.  Set up and tear down is quick.
Guarantee:  My first performance in your venue is always no charge.  At the end of the performance I ask you pay me what you felt the show was worth.  No catch.
Cost:  I charge per set (hour sets with 5 min break).  First set is $50.  Two Sets for $80 (best Value) and three sets for $125.
Availability: I work fulltime as a police officer so my weekends are not always available but contact me and I can advise as to my open dates.  I am most available for morning (breakfast) shows and lunchtime entertainment.
Art:  I am also a photographer and displays of my art are a part of my live music performance as well, this gives patrons something to see as well as hear.
